In the UK, we have a collection of shows edited known as Classic Millionaire. This is broadcast on the Challenge channel and consists of old Tarrant era episodes. The editing requires the removal of appeals for contestants and the removal/insertion of ad breaks at different times to suit the new channel. The episodes are very enjoyable even if the questions are dated (last night's asked two questions relating to 2004). On occasion the editing means that contestants and Chris change outfits between questions!
Do other countries have similar formats?

When you say “contestant appeals” are you referring to the Llewelyn-Bowens’ flawed £1m question as an example?
Anyway, the short answer is, well, kind of. Over in the U.S. the GSN used to air episodes of the old primetime Millionaire with Regis all the time, but these were simply reruns in the full sense of the word. The episodes always (from what I remember) started and ended at the same points as they had originally, but they would speed up chunks of an episode or altogether place jump cuts in between contestants to make room for more commercials. The reruns were never referred to as Classic Millionaire, but I think that was because at the time, the syndicated version was still starkly similar to primetime.
Nowadays I think the GSN just shows the older Chris Harrison episodes.

Apologies, I meant when they would put out the number encouraging potential contestants to call in to bid for a place on the show.
It's good to sit down every so often and see the show in its former glory here in the UK.
