You planning FFF controller? And please,add "Power Paplu" lifeline Not sure if I'll get to FFF as it's not present on the US stage. (Maybe for Project 2 since it's a part of that one.) There was actually an IRC chat bot I wanted to make but yeah. Also I'm not familiar with Power Paplu.

It basically revives an already expended lifeline.

Would you happen to know of a video that has it in use or if there is an icon associated with it? I'm not sure if I'm going to put it in the Supermix project (I'm already pushing it trying to include Jackpot and Risk millionaire.)

Well, seems I have another Wikipedia page to edit later on. Thanks millichris.
And it seems it's the Joker hat outline. Fair enough.

I love this lifeline already ! Never heard of it since now but that's brilliant idea to create a lifeline that gives you the possibility of reviving another one. Love it !

Just a couple of minor updates. I've pretty much had to restart some of the coding for this project. I looked a things and realized that stuff was being pulled up too slow for my liking. (Example: The control would pull each individual question upon advancing to the next or previous question. On paper this doesn't sound that bad, but the controller would have to sit there and pull each question one, by one, by one, as you adjusted your position on the queue.) So this has now been changed to the controller now loading ALL the questions in one individual go and reading through the information instead. This way, if something happens to the DB connection (AccessDB/Jet connections are really fickle), the program can still go forward with what it has already. Next, I changed up the design of "Create New Game" as I saw no point in hiding the individual checkboxes that weren't used. They ended up creating unsightly gaps. So instead, any field not being used is instead being left as a disabled checkbox instead. Additionally when going into Select Stack mode, the dropboxes for Difficulty will be disabled as this will be set by the selected stack. The Stack Manager doubles as the Stack Selector as for creating a new game. Two buttons (Cancel and Select Stacks) will appear on the new form. Additionally, after a bit of work has gone into making the stack lists filterable into "Ready" and "Not Ready" statuses. (In other words, if the stack doesn't contain questions equal to the number of question slots, you can't choose it.) Furthermore "Suggest Stack" has been implemented too. If you don't want to cherry pick making a stack but would rather pre-select the questions ahead of time and build upward... this is possible. The Stack Manager will update automatically each time you make a change to the stack. After a few suggestions, and looking into exactly what it meant... I've gone ahead made a modification to the Master Controller Screen and Lifeline lists. Now there will be two additional lifelines: Ask One/Three Of the Audience And Power Paplu (titled "Joker" after its icon as seen in KBC). They don't have full functionality yet. But they won't be too difficult to maintain. Essentially Ask One/Three of the Audience will ask you for a name(s) and the choices of three of three players. (On a separate overlay this will pop up on the side of the screen.) After this is done, the game will resume as normal. However, when the "Show Correct Answer" button is pressed, a pop up will appear telling you that "Player A has chosen the correct answer!". Letting you know that you may have to award prizes to the player. (In the actual show, based on the research I can see, if the player at the hot seat chose an answer given to them by the audience member then the audience member will receive an additional prize.) Power Paplu will do nothing more than generate an alert saying that "Joker Activated"... then it will be up to the controller to make the appropriate lifeline selection. (There is a possibility that I will disable the answer choices until a lifeline is selected. Still working that out.) Of course with the addition of "Ask One/Three", this means I had to add in another thing, Risk Millionaire. Risk Millionaire is nothing more than a separate stack of Safety Net toggles that will be activated when the controller choose to activate Risk mode on the Display Money Tree screen. When that happens, additional lifelines as selected during set up will become available and the safe havens will be used as chosen. Also if you notice above, I have selected "Jackpot Mode" and made it a possible option. This will allow you to select a new "Jackpot" value to make the last question of the tree equal to and will also allow you to increment the value automagically upon the completion of the game (the "Game Over" state) when the top question was not won. Lastly, while not shown on the New Game form above, I've decided to go ahead and bite the bullet as it were and to make the texts of the game customizable. This came as I noticed during the actual US shows that instead of representing $1,000,000 as such it was instead represented as "$1 MILLION" instead. So to reflect that, expect a new column box to be made available. The "Currency Setup" area will still be used to autofill in the values based upon a change in the numerical selectors listing the values. This won't change much except that on the host screens it will still list the full numerical value instead. STILL TO COME- The database for the player information and the "high scores" table.
- The auto-play, special controllers. (This includes the Lozenge for "Charity totals", Question of the Day, "Audience Warm-Up" mode, and the "Introducing the Lifelines..."
- Event Management... This is more for those that play at conventions.
- Twitch Chat Bot - To collect the votes from Twitch Chat (WAY future edition, as soon as I figure out what did Twitch do to their APIs.)
- Project 2- Hotseat. Should be started soon. It will definitely be LESS flashy than this one. (Think back to the original series when the dollar amounts and lozenges just popped up on screen as opposed to US Clock Era with the glittery effects and the like.)
===
Can anyone else think of anything else that I should include? Trying to figure out what else should go in at this point before I start learning how to draw logos and lozenges in Flash and a gaming engine.

A thing that I can say is that this ambitious project looks promising... Also I have a question : Why did you mention (UK) next to the €uro currency ?

A thing that I can say is that this ambitious project looks promising... Also I have a question : Why did you mention (UK) next to the €uro currency ? UK Formatting for the Euro currency. So I noticed that there is no "official" way as directed by the EU to indicate the Euro. So essentially it comes down to the host countries default usage. Example: If the a Brit, in the UK were to express one million in Euro, it would look like: €1,000,000 But if a German, in Germany, were to express the same, it would look like: €1.000.000 instead. Other countries will include the Euro at the tail end with 1000s separated by periods (.) while others use commas with the Euro in the back, then there's the UK who, when writing the Euro, the Euro will be included in the front. So this plainly means that it will format the Euro as if written in the UK. (Even though its known that the Pound Sterling is in fact the currency of the UK.)

Seriously in love with this and how much I'm squeezing into it. Risk Millionaire will be the next screenshot when it's ready but I wanted to show you the work so far on the changes noted in my last post. Note a few changes (shown here with KBC's 15 Question format. Still trying to track down the others or make the decision on if whether to include ALL the millionaires (after all it aired on over 100 countries...) First note the Question Value entry. Here is where you can simply put what the value of the question is as it's going to actually appear in the money tree displayer. The numerical values are needed for the math part of the program to work (current bank value, how much to walk away with, how much will be issued if wrong). So if I switched it to say, US Current Season, it would look like this: (In the US Tree, $1,000,000 is represented as "$1 MILLION" instead of the numbers. Only in Super Millionaire was the tree displayed in full numerical.) Also note Player Options have been changed. Instead of a plain text entry, a database will keep a running tally of several "interesting" stats. Including how many players played, average winnings, top winners, etc. If you don't want to collect all that for EACH player, you can simply select "Contestant" from the drop down box or hit Quick-Add Player and it will prompt you for just the player's name and headshot image (think back to Meredith's first season hosting on the big projector screen). (If you go to the player manager before hand, you can pre-add details about Name, Location, Phone-A-Friend lifelines.) Event simply allows you to define different events if you're going to run it on a college campus or at a convention. This doesn't affect the operation of the program, just the record keeping. (An entry in the high score's table will go "#1 Paul Williams, $1,000,000, Banked Time: 1:40, Format: Clock Millionaire (Banked), 15 Questions, AnimeNEXT 2016".) If no event, simply click "Unattached". This means that it won't have its own specific high score's table BUT would still count in the overall list. "Eligible for Millionaire Tournament of Ten" is a selector that will have the program automatically keep track of the top 10 finishers of the Millionaire Tournament of Ten. The program will compare the scores and if a person qualifies, they're added to the list. If not, they're not. The displayer under Special Controller will allow you to view this list on the projector. All of these would be triggered by the "End Game" button and dialogue after the crash to logo. (So don't jump into the next game right away, let your controller/producer do some accounting.)

I think yes. I am in favor of your idea to have Millionaire money trees from over 100 countries. But,how can I insert the name of the contestant?

But how can I add the name of the player When you hit "Quick-Add" it will prompt you for the name to put in. Then the form will auto-select that player for you. Also while I'm making updates: Here's Risk Mode's setup. I have to take a moment and step back to rework the save/load games because of these changes. Shouldn't take me long. (Also it was weird setting up this display screen... German currency standards don't match up with the values shown on the show... so I had to hard code these in instead.)
