I remember back in August of 2009, there was an episode of Live With Regis & Kelly where Regis was at the studio and the camera gave us a full view of his host screen. He even goes onto to explain the technical side of it too! For those who haven't seen the video before, here it is! (Thanks to bl5965 for uploading this)

Also are the coloured boxes as highlighted in red the only part of the screen that the contestant can't see? I presume they get (redundantly) told their name and home town and they get the information area that shows the PAF clock and ATA results? Yes, all these boxes are only destinated to the host screen. Same as contestant's name and home town... For the informations, the actual software generate : For PaF and AtA : a countdown of 30 seconds/or results in a large area between hexagons questions and contestant name/home town... So the contestant does get to see the Ask the Audience results and Phone a Friend clock. Do they appear inside the blue rectangle when on the contestant screen?

One thing that I have noticed when I'm going to some tapings, when I was host side in the audience, I have a total view to the host screen... In fact the blue rectangle is ONLY for some indications to an answer when a final answer was given and in the same case, this rectangle appear in same time as the final answer... For PaF lifeline, the 30 seconds countdown appears at the same position as the blue rectangle... Same for AtA, results appears at the same position but framed by a thin white rectangle.

This is extremely off topic, but watching that short clip makes it so apparent how much magic has been lost from the show since 2009. I'm very grateful that we got the 10th Anniversary Celsbration and that primetime WWTBAM got to have a proper finale.

This is more like a prototype of a new software seen below during Meredith's first rehearsals back in 2002:

I honestly adored the clock format... I couldn't agree more. Millionaire was so special years ago, but with the Shuffle format I feel that it is only loosely based on Millionaire, and it really isn't as magical as the older versions.

Alright, all, y'all, what font is it in the boxes? It's not Copperlate or any form of it. Nor is it Conduit.

I remember, watching WWTBAM Magic Moments, where I could see Chris Tarrant's screen, and I don't think that was Conduit, look at this : Maybe that the font varies by countries or softwares, I really don't know for this point...

It's difficult to compare the font from this kind of angle, but I could see the number "1" in the phrases like "£16000" on this snapshot above is drawn in a straight line which is one of the standards for this font.

What font is in the boxes you're asking. Here's the answer which might help you: Gill Sans.Yup, it's Gill Sans MT. The reason for this can be found in the pilot episode. Take a look at this picture: This is the question layout used on the pilot episode. As you can see, the question graphics use Gill Sans for both question (without the question lozenge) and answers. Also, take a look at the answers' "◆A:", "◆B:", "◆C:" and "◆D:". They seem different (the letters seem wider and the "diamonds" are a bit displaced).

On the topic of fonts, I've been looking for a while, on the classic UK version of Millionaire, what font is used for the A:, B:, C:, and D: on the question "cards"? Is it Conduit?
