Hi,
I am roboboy and I am 23 years old. I am a software developer with interests in TV game shows. I am currently building an application that replicates the host screen and contestant screen as seen on set. So far most info has been greened from articles and watching many hours of YouTube videos. My aim is for it to be able to replicate any format used in the world except shuffle format.
I am from Sydney Australia if you couldn't guess from the title and I am intrigued by our early 11 question format and the alternate intros and music we have used for non Hotseat Millionaire.

Good to see another Oceanic person on the forums! Welcome to the boards! Thanks for the warm welcome. I am already getting some of the information I haven't been able to find on the rest of the English speaking Internet (I had no clue how much stuff is on Gameshows.ru before joining). Which forum is the best place on here to discuss nitty gritty details of formats for the purpose of implementing my Host Screen application to take a wide (if not nearly limitless) set of formats? The way I am writing my app is that anything that is part of a format used anwhere in the world that wasn't part of the 1998 UK Format and can be isolated as an option will be. The idea being that it will let you play a game with US Clock rules on the Australian 11 Question MoneyTree using the UK Rave Graphics and the original Strachan music. I am planning on it all being based on preset but modifiable formats so that you could take my previous example and add the risk format to the US clock format. Edit: An example of something I need to know is regisfan.proboards.com/thread/2591/first-question-money-trees-less . That sort of info will be used for pulling questions out of my database that has questions of all 15 of the original difficulty levels when a shorter money tree is in use.

I'm not sure whose graphics those are. My program has the ability to customize graphics, so the person who sent me the pictures used their own graphics.

I am intrigued by our early 11 question format and the alternate intros and music we have used for non Hotseat Millionaire. As am I! I love how Australia edited some cues to make it sound more... Australian. Which modified theme do you prefer: the 1999 one or the 2006 one (with the rock guitar)? I like the 11-question format as well. Did you know that Australia has had the longest and shortest money trees in the world? (longest: 16 questions, 2007; shortest: 11 questions, 1999)

I knew we had the shortest and longest. I liked the 1999 intro as it had aspects of the original UK into in it. I also like the music used in the 2006 intro. Would love to find a better quality video of it. I'm not a fan of the use of the UK Tier 1 music being used past the First question when we had the 11 levels(My hoost screen will not behave that way if you give it an 11 question money tree . I have also noticed that when we got the rave intro, the host entrance part of the theme reverts to a style more in line with the old music. I would have rather the whole intro sequence be rave. I also noticed on YouTube that we weren't the only country not to have a full rave intro.

I hope to release an alpha version of my Host Screen application this month if I can get permission to use some graphics I found on YouTube.

I have a new major update in the works that will make my host screen significantly more accurate if I can get all the required GFX or permission to modify GFX I have to create the missing bits e.g. lifelines. without access to Fan Games.

Good to here. By the way don't just rely on the Fan Games Sharing Centre, (Yes, I know you are not a member!) You must remember that some people took time to create graphics and other impressive content, by themselves and for them it wasn't as easy as hitting a "Download" button. I guarantee that you will get more pleasure from creating the parts by yourself.
