Post -------------------- Sorry I disappeared for a while... Something came up and I didn't get a chance to post. I should be in the clear now so it's business as usual from here on out. -------------------- End That's right for $10,000! *$10,000 win cue* Right, you are 7 away from a million. Here's question 6 of a possible 12 and it's for $20,000: Of which ship is the TV puppet Troy Tempest in command? |
A: | Thunderbird 1 | B: | Fireball XL5 | C: | Stingray | D: | Supercar |

Post -------------------- Ok, we really need to pick this up now as I'm going away in a week or so's time. -------------------- End It's good! You have just won $20,000! *$20,000 win cue* Right, it's from here that the jumps get rather large (but, then again, so do the drops...). This next one is for $50,000: Mickey Finn was a member of which glam rock band? |
A: | Sweet | B: | Kiss | C: | T. Rex | D: | Slade |

You seem pretty sure... You're right to be sure, you've just guaranteed yourself $50,000! *Milestone #2 win cue* OK, this is where things get serious. You are 5 away from a million, you've just earned yourself another lifeline (Switch the Question) and now you're going for $75,000. You may as well take a look at it as you can't lose anything at this point. Here it is: Which film stars Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane? |
A: | Ed Wood | B: | Sleepy Hollow | C: | The Source | D: | Dead Man |

You quite clearly do as that's just earned you $75,000! *$75,000 win cue* Now the money gets REALLY steep. This next one is to double your money and is valued at $150,000... Still have 3 lifelines. The national flag of which country is NOT rectangular? |
A: | Laos | B: | China | C: | Belgium | D: | Nepal |

You do remember correctly, it's just won you $150,000! *$150,000 win cue* OK, you are 3 away and have 3 lifelines remaining. You are in a really strong position here... This is question 10 of a possible 12 and is worth a quarter of a million dollars. Here it is: The 18th century engineer James Brindley was famous for building what? |

Ok, I believe your chosen friend is futuregshost, correct? Right, let's get him on the line. *Phone dialtone* F: Hello? O: Hi, is this futuregshost? F: It is. O: Ah, hello. Olid2010 here from Who Wants to be a Millionaire. F: Oh, hi Oli! O: Right, ok. I've got your friend thorklein here and he needs help. He's going for a quarter million... No pressure. In a minute you'll hear thorklein's voice, he'll tell you the question and the four possible answers, ok? F: Sounds good. O: In that case you have 30 seconds and your time starts... NOW!

When the question came up, the first thing I was thinking was bridges. Canals for the 1700's seems way too early, ships could work, what with all the explorers on expeditions. Roads I think was a little too early for the 18th century, maybe 19th century. My advice: go with A or C. I'm only about 40% sure on either of them. Good luck!
