Being a regular player of Daily Millionaire, I have to update the leaderboard frequently and have noticed that a lot of people on there have not played in yonks.
So I propose an idea to trim the fat per se and reduce the clutter of the leaderboard: I order to hold a place on the leaderboard on Daily Millionaire, you have to be part of it at least once a month. You just have to attempt a question in order to hold you right to be on there. (I know how much you like your $292 GSK  ) If you don't clock in on the first month, then you will be placed in solitary but be put back on when you resume. If you don't clock in for the second month, then you get removed from the leaderboard and have to start from scratch if you want to resume.
These are all just ideas. I want the Daily Millionaire to be as uncluttered as possible.

That sounds like a lot of extra busy-work for somebody...keeping track of everything and who should/shouldn't have their name on the leaderboard.
Maybe I mis-understood what you were saying but what's wrong with just copy + paste? It's not like someone has to type everything in by hand...

I would just like to throw in my two cents and I believe that I would find this Daily Millionaire structure kind of complicated. I do have to agree with FinalAnswer19. Whenever I do the leaderboard (although it's been a while) I copy and paste, there's times however that I've had to adjust positions, say a member gets $1 MILLION add to their total and moves them up say five places, it's not easy. I've had to remove the leaderboard place numbers to make it easier then reinstate them when i'm done. |

I have to agree with the majority. It would take too much effort to effectively manage the proposed system. Besides, GSK's record has held out this long. Why kill the dream now?  |

I agree with FA19, whenever I update the leaderboard, I copy and paste, on one ocassion though I just updated the people who gave the correct answer, could that be a solution?

There are a LOT of people who are on the leaderboard, who have not played in a long time, mainly banned folks, and those who have not played in YEARS. Is there a way we can remove those who have been banned, at the very least?

I think it's safe to say that the banned users won't be playing anymore. Go ahead and remove them.

That is all I wanted. Just players who are obviously AFK from the forum for a long time off the leaderboards.

May I also suggest to remove players who have not been active with Daily Millionaire be removed? (If I fall into that category, you may remove me as well.)

That's fine. What we don't need is an overly complicated system that requires a lot of maintenance. If someone wants to take an axe to the leaderboard and do a one-time cleanup, then go right ahead.

Please don't remove me and my $292. I've become quite fond of it and have considered more than once hanging a frame of my leaderboard position in my room.
