I find these kinds of promos to be questionable. Part of the joy of watching the show is the surprise element of somebody becoming a millionaire -- or at least going for a high dollar amount. That gets seriously spoiled when you see this promo.
I get that these promos are probably effective. But loyal viewers aren't necessarily served well by them.

I like when they hint at a million dollar question in advance, but aren't specific about it. Sometimes I just don't have time to watch the show these days so some notice is nice. I remember awhile back they did a promo (I believe for Lyn Payne) where they just said "one of these contestants will face off against the million dollar question" while scrolling through images of all the players that week. It was a nice heads up and didn't give away who it was, the question or any hint of the outcome.

That seems like a better way to tease a big winner. I agree with you, Mech.

The answers from the video are: A. Training parrots to talk B. Cheating at card games C. Digging graves D. Making... (cut off) Anyone wanna take a crack at reverse engineering a question?

Hmmm, looks like it might be about pirates or jurisdiction. I imagine it could be something along the lines of "Which of the following did the Codex Hammurabi consider a offense?" or "Which of the following was Jack Sparrow not accused of in the Pirates of the Carribean movie series?" (I've never seen any of the films so forgive me if that doesn't make any sense).

Time for another rant about this horrible format. And, no, I didn't just notice this today, I did notice it the first time I saw the video, it just really started to bother me tonight.
I'm talking about the incorrect answer on the million dollar question recently. Let's just take a second to compare the "MDQ Incorrect" cue from the original sound library to the current one. What. The. @#$%??! Seriously? **There is no drama anymore.** That is what made the show so good in the first place and the lack of it now has totally destroyed it!
Also take a look at the lighting in the studio. Compare it to the former format/set. Aside from the spotlights on the host and contestant for camera purposes, there was complete darkness in the studio when it came to the MDQ. What on earth is wrong with the lighting director now? I mean, come on...
*End Rant*

The current "million dollar wrong" cue is no different from the one they use on every other question, isn't it?
That's the big gripe I have with this music package--everything sounds the same. At least with the old one, the motif was the same but it had a noticeably different sound the higher you went up the money ladder. But this one--there's nothing distinctive, nothing differentiating the $100K question from The Big One.

I've had this opinion since the Shuffle format began, but I honestly think that the Round 1 background music is one of the biggest crimes perpetrated against Millionaire in any country.
