You know, it seems to be a composers thing not to respond to peoples emails.
Also, I am wondering how 2waytraffic found Ramon in the first place. His website is impossible to find if you don't know the URL. Second, doesn't really know anyone famous like Hans Zimmer did when he lived in the UK. Yes I know using someone like Hans is a bad example. However Keith and Matthew Strachan are famous for composing play production's.

After some quick research, Waterman originally composed an actual song as well for the show. It was about never needing to work again. Not sure of the name, but something is telling me it is also in the video that I saw years ago. I'm trying to place it in my head but just can't figure it out right now.. EDIT!!! CLOUD 9!! I'm almost certain the song was titled Cloud 9! It had words and everything...it was weird for a game show theme EDIT 2!! Found it!! The whole thing is in 8 (but really 7) parts. It's quite interesting - I suggest watching them all! The part showing the pilot is in one of the first few parts. It's from some summit back in 2007. You'll see what I mean. It gets started pretty much right away so enjoy! Oh yes, I remember watching this a few years ago. I totally forgot about this.

It's pretty funny to find a comparison like this, but I'll chalk this one up to coincidence, especially considering how the Strachans tend to be very secretive about their compositions.

I'm just wondering how the game show revolution would have looked, or rather sounded, like if Millionaire had used that music in the final version. How glad I am that the show's soundtrack bears a resemblance to the Turkish March and not the Spice Girls now.

Okay, watching the clip with the pilot, that song is catchy, but it just for me. It seems way out of place - it sounds like something you'd expect to hear on the 'past hits' station on the radio, not a tense show with high stakes like Millionaire. I'm really not surprised in the least that they changed it.

Thank you for sharing! It's very interesting. Now, I understand why Pete Waterman doesn't answer to our mails... This theme is awful!
