Thread bump here folks. It's ThorKlein speaking, i am one of the newest team members of BBE. Recently Divvy here was granted the chance to host PYL at my local convention i attend each year, SacAnime. But due to some recent hard times, he needs some help. So i set up a gofundme page for donations. Anything that anyone or everyone can give, will be appreciated, but also anything over the Base amount of $250 which is what div needs, will be allocated to the prize budget for the event. If you have any questions you can pm here, or leave a comment on the gofundme page. I love, love, love seeing these games played live at cons, but when the music is missing (Boston Millionaire above) it kinda' kills the mood for me. The Press Your Luck one however is awesome. Love it. I've always wanted to attempt to recreate a live Price is Right, but it's so prop heavy that the concept seems far fetched.

I love, love, love seeing these games played live at cons, but when the music is missing (Boston Millionaire above) it kinda' kills the mood for me. The Press Your Luck one however is awesome. Love it. I've always wanted to attempt to recreate a live Price is Right, but it's so prop heavy that the concept seems far fetched. These things tend to be out of the hands of the panelist regarding sound setup and the like. I'd imagine it'd be pretty pricey, and straining, getting all of the necessary sound equipment. Price is Right isn't too hard to run without props as there are a lot of games that don't involve running across the stage. Cliffhanger, Secret X, Temptation, Golden Road, etc. can be done. The big wheel can also be done as well using a video wall. Either way, I hope mine is nearly as good when I finally get it to work sometime soon. |
