Hi, I don't know if it will help you but I have found the chair that is/was used during the fastest-finger rounds and which is, de facto the inspiration for the hot seat. It is a PDF file that is on the website of the manufacturer who makes the salon chairs which ended up in WWTBAM. The Millionaire chair (with wooden arms) is at pages 58-9; and for the metallic arms version, it is on pages 56-7. I don't know the price of it and I don't know if you have to win on millionaire to be able to afford one. If anyone has some informations on the price of the chair, I'm interested. Well, I don't know, I've searched a bit on the internet and I found a similar one on a website (see link above) which costs $241.95 with what they call a 5-star Base (i.e. a base which has 5 legs and form kinda like a star) but I don't think that the Pietranera chair cost that price, it may be more expensive. I think you can contact them if you want to, they are tho ones who made the hot seat in the UK and probably in the US too. You can check on the website www.lsehair.com/ under the section about, the 4th photo is with Chris Tarrant on it and it explains that they rent/sell props for TV shows like millionaire. In fact, they are the reseller of the chairs in the PDF file I posted before so you can ask them the question too if you want... I hope it helps you, Idolsfan |

Hi everyone,
There hasn't been any updates on the Hot Seat because I had to deal with some issues behind the scenes. So in that regard, I apologize. However I found a few buddies of mine to get together tomorrow to FINALLY start building it. If anyone has anymore really good reference shots of the hot seat, and could send them to me ASAP, that would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys it means a lot to me. The Hot Seat is not complete yet, we just need to smooth out some parts, and then throw on a coat or two of silver chrome, and we should be in business! I cant believe that it finally happened!
